Upon arrival at the village, you will have the opportunity to explore the museum and learn about the artifacts on display. But the highlight of the visit is the chance to interact with the locals and witness firsthand their cultural practices. From participating in the "Dam Duong" festival of the Muong people to experiencing the traditions of the Thai ethnic group, you will gain a deeper understanding of Vietnam's diverse heritage.

After a delicious multi-ethnic lunch prepared by the Muong inhabitants, there may be time to visit the Gia Rai village before boarding the overnight train to Lao Cai. The train ride offers a comfortable and convenient way to travel, with breakfast provided the next morning.

Embark on a journey to discover the colorful markets of the ethnic minorities in the mountainous region, such as Xincheng, Bac Ha, Can Cau, or Cao Son. Immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of these markets as you interact with the Flower H'mong, Red Dzao, Tay, and Nung people. Afterwards, you will be transported to the charming town of Sapa.

Upon arrival, you have the option to be transferred directly to your lodge in Lao Chai village or embark on a short hike from Y Linh Ho village to your accommodation. Y Linh Ho, nestled on the banks of the Muong Hoa River, offers breathtaking views of the rugged mountain terrain and a unique cultural experience.

Embark on a trek from Y Linh Ho village to Lao Chai village, home to the Black H'mong people. Learn about their rich culture, traditions, and way of life as you explore the village. The Black H'mong, one of the largest minority groups in Sapa, take pride in their heritage and distinctive indigo clothing. Witness their traditional houses and stone walls that reflect their nomadic past.

Trekking distance is approximately 2km, taking 1-2 hours to complete. We recommend wearing sturdy trekking shoes for this adventure.

Please note that the best time to see the rice terrace fields in Sapa is from April to early September, with August being the most picturesque month when the rice turns yellow. However, Sapa's beauty extends beyond the rice terraces, with its stunning mountains, flowing streams, and vibrant hill tribe attire.

This small minority group, numbering around 38,000 individuals, preserves their unique traditions and culture amidst the rugged mountains of northwest Vietnam. Continuing our trek, we venture towards the Red Dao village in Giang Ta Chai. Traverse through lush bamboo forests, ascend and descend rolling hills, and cross a picturesque bridge on your way to Giang Ta Chai village. Indulge in a delightful picnic lunch by a cascading waterfall, or opt for a meal at a local restaurant near Su Pan village.

Covering a distance of approximately 6 kilometers over 4 to 5 hours, this downhill trek requires sturdy trekking or walking shoes. Rest your weary feet in Sapa, where you will enjoy an overnight stay with breakfast included the following morning.
